Job Purpose An Operations Specialist is a vital part of a high functioning team at Virtue Capital Management.
As a member of the Virtue Operations Team, the Operations Specialist is responsible for handling operational workflow, following through on all support service functions and providing outstanding customer service for our financial professionals.
Qualifications General computer skills required.
Customer service experience preferred.
Must be detailed oriented.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite required (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Access).
Ability to quickly learn new technology systems, such as, custodian platform websites, portfolio and data aggregation software, paperless scanning technology, performance reporting and more.
Excellent organization and communication skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to multi-task, including operating within the technology platform and speaking with advisors over the phone.
Must be able to work as a team, but also independently to meet deadlines and provide outstanding customer support.
Familiarity with technology platforms such as Salesforce, Orion Advisor Services and Morningstar Office is a plus.
Familiarity with TD Ameritrade Institutional and Charles Schwab Institutional custodian platforms is a plus.
Previous investment industry experience is preferred, but not required.
