Job Description
This exciting position will work with business units to develop and implements business continuity (mission critical employee functions) and disaster recovery (
systems
recovery) plans, which support business resiliency objectives for the company.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in CIS or closely related Business degree.
Minimum of six years of experience, in Business Continuity-Disaster Recovery field
BC-DR Certification required. (CFCP, CBCP, MBCP, CBCI, SBCI, or MBCI).
Overnight travel is required, between 50 & 65% of the year
On Call 24x7 for assistance with disasters pertaining to JHA offices.
KNOWLEDGE AND PREFERRED SKILLS
Has a wide range of experience and able to resolve complex issues. Works on complex and diverse projects. Analysis requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. Exercises good judgment in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining solutions.
Excellent team contributor, adept in following instructions and exemplifying a cooperative attitude.
Excellent organizational skills, able to coordinate multiple projects and flexible at adjusting assigned priorities when needed.
Excellent communication, customer interaction and problem solving skills.
Superior writing, proofreading, analytical and quality assurance skills with exceptional attention to accuracy and details.
Superior systems knowledge including MS Office products.
Able to show initiative, demonstrated by a strong drive for results in support of
management
's objectives.
Knowledge of FFIEC requirements and guidelines
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Coordinates the design and implementation of the company's Business Continuity Plan (BCP), upholding managements' standards and industry best
practices
. This ensures the effective company response to a business interruption or physical disaster. The plan must address both systems recovery and mission critical employee functions.
Facilitates risk assessments with business units to evaluate potential threats to business viability, information security, recovery, and physical security as they relate to Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery.
Provides guidance in identifying and defining critical systems and in assessing potential business impacts if they are interrupted.
Recommends recovery strategies and develops solutions for management consideration.
Assists management in documenting procedures, training materials and policies as assigned.
Assists management for Audit and Examination
events
.
Facilitate and document large business unit BC DR System exercises.
Provides timely and meaningful progress reports. Excels in updating management on relevant status of assignments and issues; contributing to departmental efficiency.
Develops and facilitates testing scenarios with business units that support management's directives.
May provide expertise and company support to management in local areas affected by a business disruption or disaster.
Conducts research projects upon request
Monitors, encourages, and documents BC DR Planning adherence to corporate standards and audit guidelines.
Learns new software in a timely manner and instructs our customers in the use of the BCP software.
May be asked to help develop software training programs
Skilled at ascertaining and communicating system needs. Proven aptitude, understanding and documenting key systems information regarding mission critical technical systems.
Involves key stakeholders and management in systems or strategic discussions and documents resolution.
Utilizes defined procedures and practices to produce consistent results, adhering to audit and examination standards.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
