Corporate Counsel - Operations
The candidate reports to Group General Counsel for Southeastern US region. Serves as an operational attorney for key operating groups and regions of company. Provides advice and counsel to business leads in coordination with the Group General Counsel on a wide variety of corporate and commercial issues arising in day-to-day operations of a complex organization in a heavily-regulated environment. Provides counsel to management teams on a variety of healthcare business, corporate and commercial matters. Drafts, reviews, analyzes, and negotiates agreements, memoranda, and other documents including: medical director agreements, leases, hospital services agreements, operating agreements, management services agreements, and confidentiality agreements, among others. Analyzes and resolves business disputes. Develops a thorough understanding of the company's business, its people, markets, facilities, customers, and competitors to identify trends and formulate advice, structures, and strategies. Establishes a rapport and working relationship with the business teams in both the field and in the management group to become integral member of operating team. Assists Group General Counsel with budget preparation, budget management, and teammate matters. Co-manages and supervises paralegals and contract administrators. Supports and collaborates with other areas of the JLD and compliance as needed.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
