Well-established Dental office seeks an experienced, Registered Dental Assistant
to work at both Brentwood and Columbia locations.
JOB DESCRIPTION & RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Dental Assistant, you will be instrumental in the continued growth and
success of the practice. Your technical skills, professionalism, compassion, and
outstanding desire to excel, ensure patient comfort, care and safety by
partnering with the doctor to provide efficient fourhanded dentistry. In
addition to patient care, you will maintain and sterilize equipment and
operatories, enter doctor notes and participate in the organized and efficient
operation of our paperless practice.
o Review dental records/ interviewing/collecting medical history data
o Prepare and arrange dental materials, instruments, and equipment
o Assist the dentist with four-handed dentistry in treating patients
o Chart patient's dental record under the direct supervision of the
treating dentist
o Take digital radiographs
o Place and remove dental dams as well as place, wedge and remove matrices
o Cure restorative materials in the operative site with a light-curing
device
o Temporary cementation and removal of temporary crowns
REQUIREMENTS
o Professional, smart, positive and enthusiastic
o Must enjoy (and be great when) working with people
oEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
