Job Purpose:
This position is responsible for implementation, unit testing and deploying technical projects that affect all Tractor Supply consumer brand ecommerce sites ( ). In this role you will work within a team to implement new features and functions as well as maintain, support and upgrade existing functionality. In addition, you will utilize previous eCommerce experience to identify and implement improvements in site implementation.
Primary Duties:
Responsible for designing, developing, implementing and unit testing components in a highly iterative and agile manner for IBM Commerce Enterprise.
Ensure that our implementations meet the required scalability and reliability required for Tractor Supply eCommerce operation.
Analyze and diagnose any issues which may impact performance or availability in the eCommerce environment.
Develop functional and technical documentation on assigned projects.
Responsible for coordinating with team members to achieve desired results.

Requirements:
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree or 4-year equivalent
4+ years of experience supporting a production ecommerce platform such as IBM's Websphere Commerce Suite
Strong background in server-side java technologies including EJB and servlets is
Development experience with MVC framework (Struts, etc)
Experience with Unix/Linux Shell and/or Perl scripting
Experience with IBM's UDB database
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities/Training/Systems:
Strong experience in WCS v6.x/v7.x development in building ecommerce applications on IBM commerce.
Expert knowledge and development experience with Java, J2EE, JSP, JDBC, JAXB, servlets, RAD 8, DAOs, JUnit, SQL, HTML, XML, JAX-WS, WSDL.
Demonstrated experience with Struts, Spring MVC, Hibernate, SOAP, ANT and ANT scripting.
Build and maintain features within Tractor Supply Websphere Commerce Suite environment
Implement rapid changes to meet changing business and marketing requirements.
Work in a team environment in supporting the team goals, and improving web development engineering practices
Analyze and optimize database and core commerce functions for maximum performance
Develop code consistent with Tractor Supply standard coding practices.
Manages day to day relationship with various stakeholders (web).
Responsible for execution/implementation the design of designated company web pages, including graphics, animation and functionality.
Should be able to quickly analyze the fitment of the WebSphere Commerce for the business problem, identify gaps and suggest solution around WCS with minimum customization
Should have performed enterprise implementation of WCS
Experience with Subversion for code management and version control
Experience in all phases of the software development life cycle, including analysis, design, unit test, system test, deployment and production support
Excellent communication skills, work ethic, analytical skills and the ability to work well individually as well as in a team environment
Knowledge of Content Management Systems
Profiling techniques, Memory management
Knowledge or expertise/performance and tuning will be beneficial
Working Conditions:

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
