DUTIES:
Perform product development and/or customizations at various unanticipated client sites across USA. Work on Avankia's next generation of DBSync's integration products. Analyze, design, develop & enhance application programming interfaces, enhance database synchronizations through improved extract, transform and load techniques ('ETL'). Provide for enhanced Java Data Base connectivity and enhanced integration, replication and synchronization of Salesforce . com, QuickBooks and other applications. Ensure management of all logic, enable the enhanced reading of data from the specified adapter based on the query and ensure that the software reads and writes the data in the specified adapter, and maps the objects and fields from source to destination. Provide for bi-directional data synchronization, replication, migration, scrubbing and integration with back end database or applications. Provide User Interfaces to configure and manage multiple integration profiles. Provide standard and custom objects and fields that can be mapped from Salesforce . com. Integrate with accounting databases, files and other adapters, integrate with credit card vendors and enable credit card processing from within Salesforce . com, integrate with QuickBooks or other accounting packages, connect any combination of on-demand and on-premise applications. Integrate, customize and deploy DBSync with Oracle, SQL Server, DB2, MySQL, Postgre SQL, etc. Software development duties include developing, creating, and modifying computer applications software, systems software, embedded software or specialized utility programs; Analyze user needs and develop software solutions; Design software or customize software for client use with the aim of optimizing operational efficiency; May analyze and design databases; Modify existing software to correct errors, allow it to adapt to new hardware, or to improve its performance; Work with the business tier to analyze and develop the programming code to include in the Database Management system; Work with Business Intelligence tools which include gathering, developing and maintaining the client's data; Develop and direct software system testing and validation procedures, programming, and documentation; Confer with other systems analysts, engineers, programmers and other IT Personnel to design system and to obtain information on project limitations and capabilities, performance requirements and interfaces; Work on the architectural design and production transition of new applications and enhancements to existing applications along with technical design reviews and recommending solutions and improvements; Develop High Level Documentation (HLD) and Design Level Documentation (DLD) according to the end user specifications; Analyze user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints; Work on data analysis and mapping tools for the strategic and planned exception reports along with functional design, technical design, code development, unit test, defect fix and code migration as per client needs; Design, develop and modify software systems, using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcome and consequences of design; Work on sharing of common data by overseeing proper key management and data dictionary maintenance; Review the database design and integration with system enhancements and improvements; Assist the technical support staff when they are unable to resolve a program, database, or IT issue by themselves; Occasionally contact customers as they may be needed to clarify the intent of a new feature or resolve a problem; Provide general programming assistance to other programmers/projects; Administrate multi-database environments; Store, retrieve, and manipulate data for analysis of system capabilities and requirements; Consult with customers about software system design and maintenance; Coordinate software system installation and monitor equipment functioning to ensure specifications are met; Obtain and evaluate information on factors such as reporting formats required, costs, and security needs to determine hardware configuration; Work involves travel/relocation to various unanticipated client sites across USA.
REQUIREMENTS:
Applicants need to have B.S./B.A. degree (Or Foreign Equiv.) in Computer Science, IT, MIS, any Engineering field, or related field and 5 years of experience in the software development life cycle incl., at least 1 year exp., in the job offered using relevant technologies identified below.
