This is to be accomplished within compliance with existing and emerging requirements with regard to healthcare quality, safety, patient care service, the customer service experience, and operational improvements. In collaboration with senior, support center, regional and facility leaders, the Regional Director of Clinical Operations will lead the strategic direction of operations, clinical services, initiate and implement facility-wide planning to attain 5 Star status, and support resource management for all aspects of the operation.

To ensure effective utilization and control of financial resources for the region's operations by:
Ensuring provision of appropriate financial information, direction and timely reporting to Nursing Home Administrators to enable them to administer and control their respective budgets.
Reviewing Nursing home financial reports on a regular basis and working closely with Administrators in analyzing variances to budget and implementing corrective action.
Oversees the Quality Assurance process in the market to ensure the quality of services provided is consistent with applicable rules and regulations and the standards of the Corporation as necessary.
Ensure effective marketing programs are implemented throughout the region to optimize occupancy and revenue generation.
To provide guidance to Nursing Home Administrators, Directors of Nursing, center staff and market support team, collectively and individually in planning, formulating an implementing strategies that support the provision of exemplary care.
To assist, through the implementation of a goal and results performance review process, Nursing Home Administrators, Directors od Nursing and Consultants in the region in the identification of collective and individual goals and development needs. To implement programs to meet those needs utilizing corporate and/or external resources as necessary.
To provide guidance to Nursing Home Administrators, Nursing Managers and Consultants in the Nursing Home Division, collectively and individually in planning, formulating an implementing strategies, policies and objectives that support the provision of exemplary care.
To assist, through the implementation of a goal and results performance review process, Nursing Home Administrators, Nursing Managers and Consultants in the region in the identification of collective and individual goals and development needs. To implement programs to meet those needs utilizing corporate and/or external resources as necessary.
To promote and maintain positive interaction and proactive relationships with the health care community, communities within which individual Nursing Homes exist, and with the families and friends of residents, through:
Leading the development and implementation of effective marketing programs.
Assisting staff at all levels to develop or build upon interpersonal and public relations skills to enhance their ability to enunciate and protect corporate value systems.
Maintaining a high personal and company profile through participation in governmental and professional activities, and encouraging similar activities at all levels of staff.
To provide guidance and support to development, implementation and maintenance of proactive quality systems related to employee relations programs including orientation, training, recruitment, selection, retention and compensation.
Ensure effective risk management programs are in place for resident and employee safety and to maximize costs for Worker's Compensation, Liability and Property Damage claims.
1. Current Licensure in state as an R.N.
2. At least three years experience as a Director of Clinical Services in the long-term care setting with multi-site responsibilities.
3. At least three years experience in operations management in the long care setting with multi-site responsibilities.
